The Country Trails photographs were recorded in hikes that began with a train ride to communites that included the names of Mitaki, Hotinosu, Hikawa, and others. Arriving in a train stop, we would strike off through the hills on well-traveled foot trails that had obviously been under development for probably hundreds of years. |
