Being the creator and maintainer of this web site has brought me in touch with a number of USAF air and ground crew-members who have shared their accumulated experiences relating to their participation in Korean War and/or early Cold War classified recon support efforts. |
||||||||
A number of their stories are now shared as a part of this web site. Adrian Swain is one of these. The parts of his 31/91st-related stories, that I have chosen to share with you here, are but a small window to a most remarkable life story of almost continuous, dedicated, public service.
The full story of Adrian’s life experience is told in a book that I have just finished reading. It’s title is The Time of My Life Memoirs of a Government Agent from Pearl Harbor to the Golden Triangle. It is a remarkable review of many of the most important events in our Nation’s history, since Pearl Harbor. This unique book provides personal observations and insights to US involvements in events that were making daily headline news, yet remained largely a mystery to the average citizen. Before I introduce his story, I want to introduce you to this book. |
